This stock photo of a motivational speaker was taken in the studio.  Two strobes were used for lighting: One passing through a scrim lit the front of the models face and another on lower power from behind left acted as a hair light to separate the model from the background.  After taking the image of the model at the podium, I moved in tighter and more from the front to grab the image I planned to use as a background projection screen.  Both images were combined in Photoshop.  In addition I added an photoI had of an out of focus TV screen over the front of the background face.  Reducing the color vibrance and softening the background image completed the process.
