Preparing for Super Bowl Sunday the Empire State Building was lit up in rotating colors representing all the NFL football teams. I photographed the changing lights with my Fuji X-T1 and made up a collage of some of the more colorful samples below.
On Super Bowl night the lights were only lit for the two teams playing.

The building started the evening lit with the colors of both of the Super Bowl teams. |

The building lights act as a scoreboard. As a team scores there is a light show with the lights of the scoring team, but the lights always revert to the team that is ahead. |
