Fujifilm announced a new RAW file converter with film simulation for its X camera series.

The software is a free download running on both Windows and Mac computers, and will be available on Feb. 26th. This is a "RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 2.0 powered by SILKYPIX (Ver.4.1.0.0)".

Initially, the converter will work with the FUJIFILM X-T1/X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition, X-A2, X100T, X30, and XQ2 cameras. The rest of the Fuji X-camera lineup will be covered in future updates.

X-Mount filter lens cap available from Fujifilm

Fuji's new XM-FL lens cap is a 24mm (37mm equivalent) f/8 pancake lens cap weighing only 32 grams. It has built-in filters that rotate into place  --  a cross-star filter, soft filter, lens protection filter, and blank so it can operate as a standard lens cap. Focus is from 1m to infinity.

In order to use the cap as a lens the camera must first be programmed from the menu to shoot without a lens.

It is expected to be available on February 26th for $87.
